Horse Tail

On my way to school this morning, I captured this beautiful horse tail with my iphone. It was a little dangerous, but I managed to get a good picture without any accidents! Shew... I am currently trying to grow my hair out, what I would give for such a nice maine!

I should be Paris Hilton's new BAFF

Best Art Friend Forever, that's right! I should be Paris Hilton's new BAFF. I was just looking up some information on Art Basel Miami and came across an article mentioning Paris being at Art Basel last year. Then I was thinking, how great would it be to go to this event with Paris and how much she needs a Art BFF. I am a grad student pursing my MFA at UCF and am expected to go to this event, especially since it is just a car ride away. If I am Paris' new BAFF, she just might sponsor my trip! I went ahead and sent her a tweet to ask her if she was going this year @parishilton. I do hope she gets back to me soon!

Wedding in DT Orlando!

So funny... There is a photo shoot going on right across from the Clubhouse! We r all sitting here watching football and drinking so it just doesn't seem appropriate for a wedding party. We have seen them walk across the block 3 times in the 95 degree weather! Yikes

My Art Opening!

I will be having an Art Opening tomorrow night at Dandelion Communitea Cafe, which is very exciting. Dandelion is an organic cafe with lots of good food, tea, coffee, beer, and wine. I am hoping for a good turn out and looking forward to seeing some of the new students in our program in a social setting. I am really trying to get my work noticed locally and gain experience showing. The more I show work, the more I learn. Each time I go through this experience, I am more prepared for the next! Although I am excited for this show, I will be even more excited for the next because I have a lot of new work in process. This show made me realize more than anything, that I have a very specific way I like my work displayed and hung.
